Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon is a new milestone that came to life as a result of the self imposed challenge set by our team of viticulturists and winemakers, headed by Aurelio Montes, to elevate our quality, crafting a new generation of wines superior to Montes Alpha. TASTING NOTES Potent aromas of ripe fruits such as blackberries, blueberries, and plums. The palate is very well balanced with ripe tannins, generous volume, and a long, persistent finish. ABV 14.5% ORIGIN Colchagua Valley. AGEING 65% of the wine was aged for 12 months in first, second, and third-use French oak barrels. CELLAR RECOMMENDATION May be enjoyed now or cellared for 10 or more years. DECANTING Recommended for 30 minutes. VARIETY Cabernet Sauvignon 85%, Syrah 10%, Carmenère 5%.
