LOS HAROLDOS ESTATE WINES (CABERNET SAUVIGNON/MALBEC/BLEND) 750ML
Bodega Los Haroldos, owned by the Falasco family, is one of Argentina’s leading family-owned wineries. Today the fourth generation continues the story that began in 1939 when Haroldo Santos Falasco, known as ‘Don Lolo’, began to wheel his bicycle through the streets of his small hometown of Chacabuco, 200km west of Buenos Aires, selling his wines from the basket on the front.

Winemaking: Selected grapes with fermentation at a controlled temperature. Aging 6 months in 50% american and
50% french inner staves.
Tasting Notes
Mouth : Refined , good tannic character, deep , long aftertaste.
Color: Intense, purplish ruby red.
Aroma: Spiced with berries and black fruit such as
morello cherry and cassis. Notes of tobacco, chocolate
and vanilla.
Malbec
Alcohol level: 14%
Variety: 100% Malbec
Origin: La Consulta-San Carlo
Soil: Deep sandy loam soil.
Winemaking: Pre fermentation maceration for 72 hours at 5°C. Fermentation and long maceration alternating between racking, delestage and pisage at 24-28 °C. All the wine under went malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Pronounced aromas of ripe red and black fruits, with notes of its oak ageing.
Palate: Soft attack and sweet tannins typical of this Argentina variety. Good body with long, elegant finish.
Aging: All the wine was aged in barrels (50% American oak and
50% French oak) for 6 months.

Tasting Notes
This Blend is the result of the blending three grapes Varietals, oak aged enhancing the virtues of each grape, obtaining a wine of deep purplish black color and the nose where red fruits and spicy notes are perceived . The palate is presented with structure and volume , accompanied by sweet and gentle tannins showing an elegant finish.
